Mr. Whitney--7th Grade Science

I hope everyone had as great as summer as I did.  I'm coming back refreshed and ready to get back teaching you science. 

My expectations in the classroom are that my 7th graders are prepared, punctual and proper.

Students need to come prepared for class.  To be prepared you should have a writing implement (pen or pencil), paper, folder, reading material.  Having these items will ensure that you can be successful in class and be able to accomplish a task.

Prepared students entering Mr. Whitney's Science class are in attendance everyday.  Being there will minimize  the work load and allow you to understand more because you experienced it.  Getting to class on time will allow you more time to get started on the day's work.

Upon entering Science class on time with all your materials will allow you to show me that you are ready to learn.  Facing the front of the room and sitting silently with materials out in front of you will show me that you are ready for class to begin, so we can communicate with etiquette/manners.

Students, who are prepared, come to class on time, and proper, have the necessary skills to reach their personal bests time and time again in any avenue they choose.
