Welcome to the Fine Arts Department! Mrs. Sarah Lathangue and Mrs. Janet Kolacynski High School Art Teachers The art courses offered at CHS are Beginning Art I, Introduction to Drawing, and Advanced Art II, III, and IV. Classes are year long (3 trimesters) and introduce students to 2-Dimensional elements (Drawing/Painting) and 3-Dimensional media (sculpture, clay, paper mache, mosaic/ tile projects, etc.). Students will be introduced to a full range of materials and methods used in professional artistic practice. Our program encourages students to look and learn, to think outside the box, and teach objective skills by providing guidance through the use of imagination.
